Advent Brass will be performing at Kress Memorial Seventh-day Adventist church for the main church service starting at 11am. The performance will include selections from Bach and Childs, and will feature a piece for organ, piano and brass, with Sabdiasep Rosado on piano and Linda van Niekerk on organ.

The Power and Glory of God Concert
The Power and Glory of God concert was a huge success. Advent Brass took part, both as part of the full orchestra and as a featured solo group. The brass were privileged to be part of the program, which featured a choir of over 120 and a 41 piece orchestra.The concert saw many types of musical groups perform, from full choirs to ensembles, organ solo and string orchestra. Advent Brass played in four numbers: John Rutter’s “Gloria”, a custom arrangement of three hymns by Penelope Babienko titled “In the Light of His Glory and Grace” for brass, organ and piano, an arrangement of “The Majesty and Glory of Your Name,” orchestrated by Michael Lawrence, and the “Hallalujah Chorus” by G.F. Handel.

As well as being the brass section for the orchestra, Advent Brass will be debuting a new piece of music arranged especially for the occasion. Conference on Mission 2013
Advent Brass performed for the annual Conference on Mission, at the Sheraton Orlando North on February 23, 2013. To open the program Advent Brass performed “Chorale” by Bach, “Verbum Caro Factum Est” by John Sheppard, “What A Friend We Have In Jesus” arranged by Sabdiasep Rosado, and “Rock of Ages” arranged by Ed Hogan. The programs postlude an arrangement for brass of “Send the Light”.
The selections included in this highlight video are Chorale by Bach, Verbum Caro Factum Est, What a Friend We Have In Jesus and Rock of Ages.
